3. Fill in the CAPTCHA and submit.
4. Select your current and permanent address.
5. Click “Send message” with your mobile number and confirm with OTP.
6. Install the NID Wallet app on another mobile phone and scan the face verification QR code.
7. Face verify and set a password for your NID account.
8. After logging in, click on the download link to download your NID card.

To apply for an online reissue of your NID Card:

1. Visit the website services.nidw.gov.bd/nid-pub/reissue-account.

NID Card Download Full Process (Step by Step)

Step 1: Install the NID Wallet App 

First, you need to install the NID Wallet app on another mobile phone for face verification (Face Verification).

Steps to install the NID Wallet app:

1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android phone or tablet.
2. Search for “NID Wallet” in the search bar.
3. Tap on the “NID Wallet” app icon.
4. Tap on the “Install” button.
5. Once the app is installed, open it and sign in with your NID number and password.
6. You will be prompted to scan your face for face verification.
7. Once your face is verified, you can use the NID Wallet app to view your NID card, voter ID card, and other government documents.

Step 2: Register your NID account

You need to register for a NID account using your voter registration slip number, national ID number, or NID smart card number. If you registered to vote after 2019, you may have a voter registration slip. You can use your voter registration slip number to generate your national ID number. The National ID Card Wing’s registration allows you to download the Voter ID Card and utilize it after printing and lamination.

Now, you need to register an account or sign up on the National ID Card website. Follow the steps below:

1. Go to the National ID Card account using this link: https://services.nidw.gov.bd/nid-pub/.

2. Click on the link “রেজিস্টার করুন” as the first option. Then, you will be directed to a page like the one below:

3. Now, enter your National ID number or Voter Registration Form number. Type in your date of birth and the code shown in the image, then click the “সাবমিট” button.

(If you are a new voter, you will not have a National ID number. In this case, please use the form number or token number that you received after registering to vote. When entering the token number, type NIDFN at the beginning of the number. In other words, type NIDFN followed by your birthdate and the code shown in the image. Then, click the “সাবমিট” button)

4. Now, select your current and permanent address (division, district, upazila). See the image below.

5. If all the information above is correct, then click on the “পরবর্তী” button. Then, you will be directed to a page like the one below:

6. After clicking the “পরবর্তী” button, your mobile number will be shown. If you have the mobile number, complete the verification with it.

Or, if you want to verify with another mobile number that you have, you can do that too. In this case, type the mobile number and click the “বার্তা পাঠান” button.

7. A 6-digit OTP verification code will be sent to the mobile number. Therefore, the mobile number must be active and in your possession. Please enter the code in the box and click the “বহাল” button.

8. Now, click The “TAP TO OPEN NID WALLET” button.

9. Now, click the “ট্যাপ করে” option to copy the QR Code.

Step 3: Verification of Your Face

1. Click the “CODE” button to complete the QR Code verification. Then, you will be directed to a page like the one below:

2. Click the “Start Face Scan” button to start the face scan. First, take a picture of yourself straight on. Then, turn your head slightly to the left and right, keeping your eyes on the camera.

3. After scanning your face properly. Click on the “OK” button

Step 4: Download Your NID Card Now

1. Back to the browser page. Then you will see your NID information on the web page।
